Message from Fedor Konyukhov from the Greenland Ice Cap via Iridium Sat phone: “All is well up here. We are continuing at N-W-N heading. The Ice Cap at this area is very flat, like a hockey field. Dogs doing are in good shape in both teams. Temperature in the night – 18 C, during the day - 10 C, very little wind and plenty of sun. We normally start at 12-00 and keep going until 23-00. The camp is ready by mid night. From the start we have covered 120 km, with one day stationary due to the snow storm. Hans Aronsen, my partner for this crossing is teaching me some Inuit technique how to handle and run the dog team.
