Message from Oscar Konyukhov via satellite phone: “We have 1280 nautical miles left to go before the finish in Antigua. The wind is moderate, 10-15 knots. The ocean is full of ripples; it looks like there is a storm north of us. The crew predicts that we’ll have 1000 miles left to go after this night. On board everything is in norm; all the sails are up. Yesterday we caught our first fish (dorada) which made everyone excited thinking about the supper.”
